Godspeed is a documentary about the world's most difficult bicycle race. Every summer the world’s top cyclists, both Amateur and Professional, gather in San Diego for The Race Across America. The ultimate test of human endurance. Racers compete 24 hours a day for 7 days covering 3000 miles of deserts, mountains and plains. Discover what it takes to overcome physical exhaustion, mental delusion and sleep deprivation as the film goes behind the scenes with the first time race team of Brad Cooper and Jerry Schemmel. Cooper, an IronMan triathlete will team up with ultra-cyclist and sportscaster Jerry Schemmel of the Colorado Rockies to compete in the two-person over 50 division. With alternating shifts or pulls, they will attempt to pedal 168 hours non-stop to the finish line in Annapolis MD to raise money for the orphans of Haiti.
